"When I think of my artwork, I’m reminded of a colorful world that can only be found in dreams. The basic themes found in my work are strong color contrasts, exaggerated subject matter and drip techniques where I try to stretch the boundaries of surrealism. Music is definitely one of my main inspirations. Songs are like stories and while listening to the lyrics, an image forms in my mind inspiring the next piece. Utilizing house hold tools, such as a grout spreader, creates texture that mimics sound waves in music. I love to incorporate spray paint related to my admiration of street art. Integrating imagery of my people and urban landscapes reflects the environment in which I was raised."

"We're a small shop in Seattle, WA that makes quality, custom furniture. We use reclaimed old-growth wood sourced from the Pacific Northwest.
We use predominately old-growth douglas fir planks (most over a hundred years old). We think the character of this wood needs very little improvement. We sand and finish each piece by hand, which lets the imperfections and scars of the lumber's long history shine. All of our furniture is made by hand right here in Seattle and no two pieces are alike."

"I attribute my artistic inspiration to the imagery, sounds and colors I find in music videos, media and social media. Visually, from Instagram and music videos I find and sketch the human form in natural poses, which provides reference for the basic structures of my subject matter. The music I choose to listen to, hip-hop/Soul and electronica instrumentals, allows me to freely express my emotions, which becomes the essence of my work. Prints now available to make your home beautiful!"
